Zoe Ball is hoping to swap her ‘Strictly’ sequins for cycling shorts so that she can take part in ‘Pedal in Preston Park’ at the Preston Park cycle track in Brighton, on Saturday 26th October 2013. She’s asking cyclists of all ages and abilities to get involved and help raise money for Martlets Hospice and the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA). Speaking about why she supports the event she said:
Pedal in Preston Park is great family fundraising event as anyone with a bike can get involved. It is on the flat and you can do as many or as few laps as you like, so it really is open to anyone. Pedal is raising money for two charities that are close to my heart as I lost my dear stepfather, Rick, to MND last year and he was cared for by The Martlets Hospice. I really hope the event raises lots of much needed money for them both. If work commitments allow you may even catch a glimpse of me on my bike!
